Wow, this lake is beautiful!! We loved exploring all of the forks and coves. It’s a bit busier in the wider sections of the lake, but it’s easy to find quiet corners for swimming. Perfect lake for boating and tubing!

So much fun we went boating and tubing on the lake with a boat rented from the state park marina. Kids and adults loved every minute of it.

Always visit the lake although we don’t use the lake. Their visitor center has knowledgeable staff and self guided tours are kid friendly. Lake history is very interesting and informative video. Kids love the activities they have. Adjacent walking trail is wheelchair friendly and wide with mostly level experience.
